Cozy, breathable and versatile: The Wombat 2-in-1 footmuff accompanies your child from birth to toddlerhood – lightweight enough for a carrycot, long enough for use in a stroller or pushchair (95 cm).
Made with soft Merino fleece inside (100% certified organic Merino wool) and finely processed Merino loden on the outside. This unique wool construction makes the footmuff naturally temperature-regulating, water-repellent, breathable, and dirt-resistant – without any synthetic materials. Keeps your child warm down to –10 °C in winter and provides a cooling effect on warmer days – perfect for year-round use.
Unlike traditional lambskin footmuffs, we use no animal hide – only pure shorn wool from living animals. This makes the Wombat exceptionally lightweight, soft and flexible, yet just as warm and functional as a sheepskin footmuff.
For extra weather protection, it’s insulated with Lavalan® – a natural wool fleece that adds both warmth and reliable wind insulation – ideal for autumn and winter.
The fold-up foot section keeps dirty toddler shoes from soiling the inside. Thanks to the detachable two-way zipper, the top can be completely removed on warmer days – turning the base into a soft liner for the carrycot or a cozy playmat for on the go.
With a convertible hood (secured with wooden toggle buttons) and OEKO-TEX® certified materials – for natural comfort all year round.

Dry-cleaning or hand washable with fur or wool detergent. Avoid vigorous rubbing. Squeeze out by hand. When damp, carefully pull into shape and lay flat on a towel to dry.
Tip: Stubborn dirt can be easily removed from the Loden fabric when dry with a fine natural hair brush. Stains can be removed with a damp cloth and some mild soap. Liquids do not penetrate the fabric and remain as droplets on the Loden.
Tip: If the Loden fabric is soiled by liquids, they should be immediately absorbed with an absorbent cloth, such as a tissue, or rinsed with clear water. Do not rub the fabric with a cloth, but only dab it.
... self-cleaning against odors Wool has a molecular structure that helps it self-clean. This effect is also present in loden fabric.
Tip: Simply hang the Loden fabric outside in fresh air, and it will be self-cleaned of any odors in a short time.
